Canify Clinics in Dortmund
Canify Clinics recently opened a practice in Dortmund. By specialising in cannabis therapy, we improve the quality of life of seriously ill patients. Ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor Martin Lehmann is fascinated by the diverse effects of cannabis as medicine and would like to make it easier for patients to access therapy with cannabis.
Since 2017, the "Cannabis as Medicine" law has made it possible for doctors to prescribe cannabis as medicine on a narcotic prescription under certain conditions. However, it is often difficult for patients to find doctors who prescribe cannabis. Canify Clinics is doing something about this with its specialised practices.
"I am happy to be able to welcome not only ENT patients in my practice at the Phoenix See, but to take care of the relief of complaints from many different disciplines," says Martin Lehmann, who has been particularly enthusiastic about the holistic effect of cannabis since his further training in cannabinoid therapy. "You really have to look very carefully from patient to patient to see what the right therapeutic approach is," explains the medical doctor. Cannabis is currently most commonly used for chronic pain, but the experience of doctors and patients suggests that medical cannabis can be a safe and effective treatment option for many more indications.
With Canify Clinics, patients currently have the opportunity to receive advice on cannabis therapy at three locations in Germany. After an initial meeting on site, there is the possibility of further appointments being held virtually in video conferences. With this telemedical approach, Canify Clinics aims to make treatment with medical cannabis as safe, effortless and effective as possible.
